Success in life depends primarily upon three things: discovery of who you are, what you can do best, and where you are going.

My Monumental Strides

A Letter from Tiffany Rawson Business Strategist & CEO

Before launching Monumental Strides in 2022, I spent almost two decades creating destinations and attractions (theme parks, zoos, aquaria, museums, water parks, etc.) all over the world. As a theme park enthusiast with a background in business, architecture, and engineering, I had landed my dream job! Traveling to new countries, experiencing new cultures, and working with incredibly creative teams…what could be better than this?

Then something happened that rocked my world - I became a mother of two amazing boys and over time, my life priorities changed. Suddenly, time spent traveling and missing important moments in my sons’ lives overshadowed the great attributes of my job. I immediately paused and decided to approach things differently. Knowing that my passion lies in helping others achieve goals that can transform their organizations, I embarked on a new journey to redesign my life with the goal of achieving better balance and spending more time with my young family.

As a Business Strategist, I now apply my business knowledge and creative thinking differently, focusing on empowering others to define, communicate and achieve bigger and more intentional goals for growth. I work with organizations to define goals and strategies that are unique to them, reflecting their vision, values, strengths, story and team. I understand that ideas are only valuable if implemented so my process is rooted in action and ongoing guidance. Strategic planning is an iterative process (because we all understand that things rarely go as planned) and that by knowing where you are headed (and why) and pausing along the way to assess progress, anyone can have an impactful and meaningful journey while making monumental strides forward.

Testimonials

Strategic planning with Tiffany at Monumental Strides makes the planning process clear, and takes logical steps to get to a right-sized long-term plan. Our planning team of 6 included 5 team members who had never gone through a strategic planning process.  Tiffany explained each step of the process so that at the end, we could all see the plan for moving forward and understand how each step contributed. We are excited to start implementing our new plan to grow the Aquarium Foundation’s impact!

I have seen firsthand how non-profits struggle with their strategic planning, only to end up with a document with no real vision to share with donors, and that is too complicated for employees to execute.

Tiffany Rawson has the experience and spirit to wrangle the most fragmented boards, guiding them to the next steps that everyone, from donors to boards and employees, can embrace in order to excel in their next chapter.
